Anse Chastanet - St. Lucia

Nestled amidst a 600-acre tropical estate with two soft sand beaches bordering on pristine coral reefs, Anse Chastanet is in complete harmony with its natural surroundings-the ideal hideaway for all those seeking a tranquil or romantic vacation spot, or perhaps a little of both.

Partake in the many activities on offer; yoga, snorkelling, scuba diving, tennis, sunset sailing, sea kayaking or jungle biking, hiking and bird-watching among the ruins of an 18th century colonial plantation. The less actively inclined simply do nothing, lie on the beach or get pampered in the resort’s spa, Kai Belté.

Enjoy the casual beachside bar and restaurant; on the hillside, a panoramic hillside lounge and two treehouses provide the romantic setting for candlelit dinners, with musical backdrops by local entertainers.

Tranquility, Romance and Adventure at Anse Chastanet.

Accommodations

Anse Chastanet offers a variety of room categories in the 49 individually designed rooms, 37 of which are scattered about a lush hillside, and 12 which are nestled within a tropical garden at beach level.  To make the most of the panoramic views and the refreshing trade winds, the octagonal whitewashed cottages come with wraparound flower draped balconies and louvered windows. Some have their 4th wall open entirely to the vistas, yet are completely private. Anse Chastanet emphasizes the use of local woods and other local products in the room decor and furnishings. Cushions and bedspreads are made from colorful cotton fabrics called madras, the island’s “national cloth.” Even the resort bathrobes are locally made and have become a popular souvenir item!
